What to Expect From Coaching:
- An ongoing client-coach relationship characterized by innovative action planning, mutual commitment and enthusiasm, and unconditional support.
- Straight-forward questioning techniques for brainstorming, problem solving, and action planning.
- An intuitive and powerful connection between two focused people working on one set of goals-yours.
- Progress through action, insight, and personal growth.
What I Expect From the Client:
I expect you to maximize the return on your investment! This means that I expect you, as my client, to:
- Prepare to Participate:
- In the one-on-one coaching sessions, be prepared for coaching calls by using the Coaching Preparation Form to jot a few notes about your successes, outline obstacles during the week, and record any questions you may have. Also, spend a few minutes before any coaching calls to prepare your mind, so you can allow yourself to really focus. Create a quiet, secluded space for your coaching sessions.
- Utilize the on-line coaching support system any time you have a question or concern.
- Continue the Process Between Sessions:
- Follow through on your Breakthrough Goal Plans. These are your commitments to yourself.
- As your plans change, be aware of what is changing and why.
- Be flexible to new and better ideas and opportunities. The universe will surprise you.
- Track Your Progress:
- Refer back to where we started. You'll often be surprised how far you've come.
- Acknowledge and reward yourself when you've made progress.
- Keep me informed. Ask for more when you need it. If something doesn't feel right, say so. When something works great, say so.
